Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Moravicum, Proterozoic. Nature Reserve. The Vír Highlands, outcrops in the brook channel. This section shows fine grained biotite and muscovite paragneisses, mica schists and phyllites with interlayers of crystalline limestones and metaquartzites. Also minor bodies of metabasites can be found. Stream selective erosion modelled interesting macro- and mesorelief features.
