Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Brunovistulicum. Outcrops on slope of the Svratka River Valley. Bedrocks belong to the Brno Massif and consist of hornblende and biotite-hornblende metadiorites and metagabbros. These rocks are coarse grained and among rock forming minerals altered plagioclase and hornblende prevail. Their preferred orientation is distinct, due to changes in composition and texture they pass into amphibolites. Bedrock is overlain by fluvial terrace deposits of the Svratka River.
