Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubicum, Šumava Mts. Quaternary. Large protected area with wetland peat bog and spring vegetation. Peat reserves are as great as 40 000 m3. Peat is underlain by a regolith horizon and this one by paragneiss. Protected flora.
