Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Silesian and Subsilesian units, Quaternary. River channel of the Skalická Morávka River with its lower terraces. Flysch bedrocks are covered by fluvial sediments, both channel and flood plain deposits. Some alluvial aprons of tributaries reach this river channel. River regulation might endanger nartural developmentz of fluvialsystem.
