Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Pálava Protected Landscape Area, Jurassic. Rocky ridge in a summit area exposing so called Ernstbrunn Limestone. This Jurassic limestone is intensively karstified and exhibits karst features as sink holes and numerous relief mesoforms. Slopes are covered by colluvial loam, sand and gravel, locally also by a loess. Current removal of shrub vegetation. The locality is classified as National Nature Reserve.
