Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Pálava Mts, Protected Landscape Area, Jurassic. Rocky cliff made of weathered Ernstbrunn Limestone. Erosional relief, relic of former Pliocene plain. Rich thermophylic fauna and flora on a limestone bedrock. Current artificial removal of shrub vegetation and land transformation into pastures. The locality is classified as a National Nature Reserve in the Protected Landscape Area Pálava.
