Geology
Short characteristics of the site: The abandoned quarry (sandpit), called "Myší díra - the Mouse Hole". The thick sedimentary sequence crops out there, starting with a layer of deeply coloured schists and overlain by greywacke layer. Pebbles in comnglomarete layers are mostly 3-5 mm large. Pebbles are often elongated with their long axes parallel with bed direction.
Overlying clayey sediments are often laminated and with traces of convolute structure.
