Short characteristics of the site: Wall of locality represents scarce Lower Badenian clastics sediments of the Carpathian Foredeep. Fine-grained to middle-grained grey-green to brown-grey calcareous sands document shallow water sedimentation closed to sea coast. The locality is important for sedimentological, geological and geomorphological studies.
