Short characteristics of the site: The Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Rocky canyon slope of the Jizera River with abandoned quarry. Oucrops of Middle Turonian calcareous sandstones with layers of sandy limestones, stratigraphically belonging to the Jizera Formation. Abundant Cretaceous fossils. Also interesting vegetation cover.
