Geology
Short characteristics of the site: The Prague CIty agglomeration. Shallow valley with some rocky slopes exposes part of Ordovician sequence, namely the Dobrotivá Formation as Skalka Quartzite and Dobrotivá Shale. They are overlain by Řevnice Quartzite of the Libeň Formation. The Ordovician rocks are covered by transgressing Upper Cretaceous Cenomanian sediments (fresh water Peruc Beds and overlying Korycany Beds).
