Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Sand pit with a fluvial terrace of the Jizera (Iser) River. Terrace sediments consist of gravel with semirounded pebbles, mainly of quartz, phyllites, mica schists, Permian rocks and volcanics. Jaspers, agates, chalcedony from melaphyres and surrounding area of the Orlice Mountains.
