Short characteristics of the site: Complex of abandoned quarries and cuts. Outcrops of siltstones up to fine grained sandstones with glaukonite. They show mural up to sheet jointing. Sandstones are bioturbated, fossil-bearing. Stratigraphically they belong to the Jizera Beds of lower part of Middle Turonian age.
