Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Kutná Hora Crystalline. Series of rocky outcrops near the Chotěboř Town. They consists of orthogneisses and migmatites. They are light grey, of hybrid character, with prevailing light mninerals and variable composition. Main rock mnerals: Quartz, plagioclase potassium feldspar and muscovite, small amount of biotite. Interesting macro- and mesorelief features, frost cliffs and cryoplanational terraces.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Kutná Hora and Svratka region - Kutná Hora crystalline complex
