Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Deep canyon as much as 100 m up to 120 m deep. It was fomed by an erosion of the meandering stream. This canyon has been cut into a thick series of quartzose sandstones (Quadersandstones) of the upper part of the Jizera Formation (Middle up to Upper Turonian). Geomorphologically significant locality.
