Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Orlice-Sněžník Crystalline. Summit parts of the Travná hora Mt. Outcrops of bedded extremely fine grained metaquartzites with secondary lamination. Foliation planes are full of striation marks. Surrounding scree contains also greyish blackish phyllites which formed interlayers in metaquartzites. Metaquartzite banding originated by ductile deformation under high temperature and pressure.
