Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Outcrops at the road in a village Nedvězí, small refuse pile in a ravine, abandoned small mine: dark grey mudstone and siltstone and thin coal seams of the Štěpanice - Čikvásky Horizon of the Semily Formation (Carboniferous, Stephanian C), sandstones and pebbly sandstones. Coatings of malachite and azurite, fossil plant remains.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Upper Carboniferous and Permian - Lugic Late Palaeozoicum (including Triassic deposits)
