Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Rocky ridge consisting of sediments of the Bohuslavice Formation. Dolomitic sandstones and sandy dolomites are present, also with conglomerate layers. Nodules of micritic carbonate were observed. Sedimentologically interesting locality.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Upper Carboniferous and Permian - Lugic Late Palaeozoicum (including Triassic deposits)
