Geology
Short characteristics of the site: A high-moor peat bog on the Přebuz high plain, 3km N of Přebuz, Sokolov area. Two large peat lakes are present. Peat is developed on granites of the Karlovy Vary pluton (Younger Intrusive Complex) with silicified fracture zones and local Fe-Mn mineralization.
