Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Road cut 400 m long with a section of the Letná Formation (Ordovician, Beroun series). Subgreywackes and quartzose sandstones alternate with siltstones and clayey sandstones. Sandstones are strongly bioturbated. Giant ankeritic concretions appear in several places. Tilting and crushing of strata near to the Závist overthrust.
