Short characteristics of the site: Outcrops of the middle and upper parts of the Kopanina Formation (Silurian, Ludlow). Renown Orthoceras quarry with bioclastic limestones with numerous orthoceras shells. Old paleontological locality. The locality is classified as Nature Monument and is situated in Geopark Joachim Barrande (candidate).
