Geology

Short characteristics of the site: This locality is represented by a mineral water spring in the Plzeň (Pilsen City). This spring is situated in larger spring area lying on the Permnocarboniferous sediments of the Plzeň (Pilsen) Basin. The mineral water flows from the Carboniferous sediments and its yield is remarkable (up to 0.4 l/s). This mineral water contains great amount od iron. The locality is classified as Nature Monument.
