Short characteristics of the site: An abandoned meandering channel of the Ohře River between Nechranice and Nové Sedlo in the Tertiary Most Basin. Banks of the channel are formed by sediments of the Most Formation with a lignite seam, overlain by Pleistocene fluvial terraces.
