Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Outcrops on the left bank of the Nechranice Reservoir some 700 m from the dam near Březno in the Tertiary Most Basin. A striated plane of the Střezov Fault with steeply plunging striae is visible, separating volcanics of the Střezov Formation from sediments of the Most Formation. A near body of explosive breccia is associated with this fault.
