Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Moravicum, Svratka Crystalline. Natural outcrops and small abandoned quarries. These outcrops represent an eastern flank of the Moldanubian nappe thrown over Moravicum. The Moldanubian unit consists of two mica leucocratic migmatites and two mica garnet mica schists. Turmalin occurs as common accesssory compound in these two types of rocks.
