Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Moravosilesian Palaeozoic. Large outcrop on the elevation exposing Devonian clastic sediments: Sandstones, conglomerates and blocks of limestones. This outcrop represents a transitional development between clastic and carbonate facies. Nearby outcrop shows quartzose sandstones alternating with clayey shales. These shales indicate initial metamorphic stages, as evidenced by presence of chlorite, sericite and crenulational foliation. Positive grading is developed in sandstones layers.
