Short characteristics of the site: Carpathian FOredeep, Neogene, Quaternary. Sand pit. Sequence of coarse grained sands and gravels of fluvial, partly possibly of fluviolacustrine origin. Clasts are mostly of quartz. Current bedding and associated structures evidence this type of origin. Deposits are of the Ottnagnian age.
