Short characteristics of the site: Quarry exposing a sequence from the upper parts of the Třebotov Limestone up to the lower parts of the Choteč Limestone, i.e. boundary interval between the Lower and Middle Devonian (Dalejian-Eifelian). Approved as an international stratotype of this boundary. Paleontologically extremely important.
