Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubicum, Šumava Mts. Hrad Hill with relics of prehistoric settlement and rocky outcrops of biotite and sillimanite-biotite migmatite of stromatitic type. Leucocrytic migmatite is also present together with elongated vein-like ooccurrence of granite. Frost cliffs are distinct together with block fields.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Moldanubicum - Metamorphic units in Moldanubicum
