Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubicum, Šumava Mts. Outcrops on slopes of Bulový Massif elevation. Bedrocks consist oof granulites of Blanský les Mts. Topmost parts of this massif are typical with copetent rocks, slopes are modelled by frost weathering. Allong foot of frost cliffs there are huge block fields. Interesting beech woodland on rock scree.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Moldanubicum - Metamorphic units in Moldanubicum
