Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubicum, Šumava Mts. Nature Monument. Deeply incised meanders of a water flow with outcrops in a brook bed. Bedrock consists of the Moldanubian biotite paragneiss, locally also of cataclastic biotite and two-mica granite. Quaternary fluvial sediments consist of mixed clayey and sandy deposits.
