Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Orlice-Sněžník Crystalline. Series of natural outcrops. Mica schists of the upper part of the Branná Group, penetrated by biotite granite. In a lower part of the Braná Group mica schists are carbonaceous. Zircon radiometric age of granitoids is 581 mil. years. According to one view, surrounding mica schists are of Devonian age, but this problem is not solved at all. Very complicated tectonic relations between individual rocks. Deformational structure was studied in detail.
