Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Orlice-Sněžník Crystalline. Long defilé in railway cut and small abandoned quarry. Two main rock types occur there, pearl up to migmatitic gneiss and granodiorite. Granodiorite is fine grained with preferred orientation texture. In pearl gneiss small folds occur. Contact between these two rock types is tectonic of overthrust character.
