Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Krkonoše-Jizera crystalline. Abandoned quarries with granite porphyry. It forms 30 m thick dyke which follows E-W oriented fracture. The porphyry contains small idiomorphic quartz crystals in felsitic groundmass consisting of quartz, feldspar and chlorite. The rock is tectonically crushed and strongly silicified. Nearby small gold washing mounds occur.
