Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Significant large abandoned quarry with sediments of Proterozoic Štěchovice Group. Siltstones and greywackes predominate. Extremely important is 15 m thick layer of paraconglomerate with slump structures. This conglomerate contains rounded clasts of greywackes and siltstones and some silicites, granitoids and volcanites.
