Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Krkonoše-Jizera crystalline. The tor-shaped rocky outcrop consisting of nepheline basanite partly shaped by quarrying. The basanite is related to tephrite, it shows fine porphyritic texture and is typical by clusters 1 cm across consisting of olivine, also of harzburgite and lherzolite. Wavy columnar jointing can be observed locally. This rock body is possibly of dyke origin.
