Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Moravian Palaeozoic. Abandoned quarry exposing a contact of the Devonian and Culm. Devonian limestones are dolomitic. Culm is represented by greenish greyish clayey shales and some greywackes. This contact between mentioned two units is of overthrust character. This locality should be protected.
