Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Marlstone outcrops on a crest between the Metuje River and Pěkovský potok Stream. Middle Turonian marlstones to limestones form cliffs and isolated pillars. They were the site of the Vlčinec fortress (traces after archeological survey). Police Subbasin of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin.
