Short characteristics of the site: Large open pit mine exposes an instructive section of the Lower Devonian, namely Kotýz Limestone, Koněprusy, Slivenec, Loděnice, Řeporyje limestones and Zlíchov Formation. Important tectonic phenomena. Fillings of karst depressions. Locality often visited by tourists.
