Geology
Short characteristics of the site: About 100 m long rocky autcrop at the field road at a barn at the lower margin of Rožmitál village. Mostly greenish grey calcareous mudstones and claystones of the Vižňov Horizon of the Martínkovice Member (Broumov Formation). They are underlied by reddish mudstone. Sediments are considered to be of lacustrine origin.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Upper Carboniferous and Permian - Lugic Late Palaeozoicum (including Triassic deposits)
