Geology

Short characteristics of the site: This quarry represents a significant paleontological locality. Rich fauna int¨the Koněprusy Limestone (Pragian, Lower Devonian). Numerous trilobites, brachiopods, bryozoans, crinoids, gastropods and pelecypods. Old Barrande´s collecting localities.
