Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubian magmatites. Natural rocky outcrops on a small elevation. Rocks belong to the Třebíč Massif and are classified as durbachites. Durbachite is coarse grained, porphyric, with large porphyroblasts of potassium feldspars and fine dark groundmass consisting mostly of biotite and hornblende. Numerous thin quartz veins. Whole rock body resembles exfoliation dome in a flatland. Nature monument protectig typical flora, represented mainly by great pasque flower (Pulsatilla grandis).
