Short characteristics of the site: West Carpathians, Outer Group of Nappes. Abandoned quarry with massive sandstones and calcareous claystones of Paleogene age. Former exploitation of a sandstone. In this quarry some faunal remains were found. Interesting thermohaline vegetation with juniper. Nature Monument.
