Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Svratka Crystalline, metamorphic units, geomorphology. Rocky frost cliff, natural outcrops, blocky scree. Bedrocks consists of coarse grained two-mica orthogneisses with an augen texture. They are strongly deformed. Nature monument protecting spruce and beech woodland on rocky basement.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Kutná Hora and Svratka region - Svratka crystalline complex
