Geology
Short characteristics of the site: West Carpathians, Račany unit, Eocene. Rocky ridge in the Hostýnské vrchy Hills. So called Rusava beds consist of conglomerates and sandstones deposited as turbiditge fans. They contain clay balls and galls and pebbůes of exotic rocks. Sandstones canbe classified as subarkoses, cnglomerates contain clasts of sediments, magmatic and volcanic rocks. Nature monuiment.
