Geology
Short characteristics of the site: West Carpathians, Račany Unit, Upper Paleocene, Lukov beds of the Magura flysch. Distinct rocks consisting of conglomerates and sandstones. Sandstones are medium- up to coarse grained with quartz, potassium feldspar, micas and also phyllite clasts. Rocky ridge is detached into individual forms, mostly along bedding planes and fissures. Their surface is covered with numerous meso- and microrelief phenomena, aeroxysts are extremely abundant. Nature Monument in the Nature Park Chřiby Mts.
