Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Unique exposure in the abandoned quarry, documenting an overthrust of older Požáry (silurian) and Lochkov formations (devonian) over the younger Slivenec Formation (devonian) along so called Očkov overthrust. Thrust plane with associated features is well visible. Also karst features, mainly caves.
