Geology

Short characteristics of the site: The Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Complex of rocks at a foot of Ralsko Mt. in a form of castellated calcareous sandstones of the Middle Turonioan age. Strong erosion separated sandstone pillars and blocks and modelled special features as a rock mushroom. Locally some human rock relief modelling can be observed.
