Short characteristics of the site: Old gallery on the locality Vítovy doly - coal seam horizon of Jívka Member of Odolov Formation (Upper Carboniferous, Barruelian). The gallery is a winter refugee of bats.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Upper Carboniferous and Permian - Lugic Late Palaeozoicum (including Triassic deposits)
