Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Kutná Hora Crystalline. Abandoned and partly flooded quarry with metagranites of the Kutná Hora Group. Metagranites are light grey with muscovite and biotite. In southern part of this quarry a block of migmatized gneisses up to stromatitic migmatites occurs. Metagranites represent one of two main rock types of the Kutná Hora Group.
