Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Quaternary, Pliocene, Upper Moravian Vale. Active brickyard exposing Quaternary and Pliocene deposits. Loess with calcite aggregates on the top, underlain by thin gravel layer. Below Pliocene yellowish sands and clayey sands occur. Underlying clays and sandy clays (Badenian) contain gypsum crystals. Recent tectonics in a form of small faults is visible.
